Toss out that bag of ‘one-size-fits-all’ container soil. Quality houseplants require the best potting soil designed for their particular growth habits! This well-draining mix is specifically tailored for the aroid (Araceae) family of plants, which includes Alocasias, Anthuriums, Monsteras, Philodendrons, Phothos and more. The Cultured laboratory studied a range of blends to land on this mix made up of high-quality ingredients. We only use coir, a sustainable substitute for peat moss that drains thousands of acres of peat bogs every year. The Royal Horticultural Society in the U.K. mandated that 90% of its own growing media requirements be peat-free by 2010. Good for your plants, good for the environment.

Our soil mix is the best potting soil for indoor plants. This mix contains a proprietary blend of orchid bark, coir, perlite, worm castings (yes, worm poop!) and horticultural charcoal. For most aroids, water when the top 1-2″ of soil are dry. Bag is 9″ x 4.5″ x 13.5″ and will fill approximately one and a half 6″ containers.
