Philodendron Verrucosum

-

Also known as the Ecuador Philodendron, the Verrucosum is a rare and sought after beauty among houseplants. Its heart-shaped foliage is a rich green, with hints or overtones of red as the leaves mature, and it loves to climb! Its lighter green veins stand out as almost luminescent. Although this plant is on the more particular side, requiring a stably warm and humid environment with plenty of indirect light, its needs are not complicated. Thankfully, this variety is not commonly susceptible to diseases or pests. If problems arise, look into the basics: light, watering, and temperature. Listen attentively to this lovely Philodendron and it will thrive!
