Care Tips for Philodendron Atabapoense
Toxic if consumed. Keep out of reach of pets and small children.
Soil: Well-draining soil. Promote drainage by mixing in perlite, wood chips, etc.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: Allow top two inches to dry before watering. This variety is adversely sensitive to overwatering.
Humidity: Medium to high. Keep at 65% humidity or higher for best growth. If you live in an area with low humidity, add a humidity tray or humidifier.
Temperature: These plants grow best in temperatures within 75-85°F. During the cooler months, take care to keep your philodendron away from drafty areas.
Fertilizer: Use a dilution of 10-10-10 applied sparingly, perhaps once a month, during growing season.
